Welcome, my name is Carist, founder and owner of Sauve Terre. Sauve Terre means Safe Land, and is so named for what it represents to my life. Created during one of the most difficult chapters of my life, its contents are moments of refuge and joy I found alongside my husband (L.A.) as we battled through some of life's obstacles. Despite the pain and sadness felt we managed to find and create incredible beauty within our pictures and the paint we pushed across the canvases.
This became our Safe Land...
Sauve Terre is our way of preserving the majesty and stillness seen in photography, as well as captivating emotions across the spectrum with colors and movements of paint playing the role of beauty amidst chaos... a wonderful metaphor of life to remind yourself along the way and we hope, wherever you are in your journey, you find something that touches and ignites your spirit, pieces that inspire your life.
